Our Team

At BEworks, Mona has been applying their expertise on a wide range of projects, from business and product transformation challenges in the private sectors to policy recommendations in the public sector. Mona also has extensive knowledge in data visualization and advanced data analytics and is passionate about developing new tools and ways to think and apply data to real-world challenges to help drive evidence-based solutions. 

Mona holds a PhD and MA in Cognitive Psychology from the University of Waterloo, where they studied how physical environments influence the way people think, behave, and make decisions. Mona has published in high-quality scientific journals and has received federal funding and recognition for their research excellence. Mona has also taught numerous courses and workshops, making them excellent at translating complex statistics into digestible insights for a general audience.  

What is Mona's dream challenge she'd love to work on?

The physical environment is ever-present and small changes to its set up can have a big impact on the way we process information, make decisions, and interact with others. There is so much un-tapped potential for exploring the intersection between physical environments and human behavior, and I would love to tackle challenges where we can make big impacts on people’s lives through small changes in the way we set up our everyday spaces.
