Jennifer is a Vice President of Strategy at BEworks, where she leads our work on the psychology of physical space design as well as technology use, with a focus on artificial intelligence. 

Jennifer holds a PhD in cognitive neuroscience from the University of Toronto, where she used neuroimaging and machine-learning tools to study how environmental distraction affects cognition across the lifespan. Her deep understanding of the unconscious effects of the environment on people's thoughts, emotions, and behaviors enables her to assist our clients to optimize physical and digital designs that yield meaningful human experiences while driving business objectives.

Prior to her current role at BEworks, Jennifer established and expanded a behavioural science consulting practice within a creative event production agency. During this time, she developed a proprietary method to integrate behavioural science into the end-to-end process of creative experience design, and served as behavioural advisor on two novel AI-based software services aimed at enhancing virtual engagement. 

As a result of Jennifer's experiences and subject-matter expertise, she has acquired an invaluable understanding of how to strengthen the design process with scientific insights grounded in human psychology. She collaborates closely with our clients, BEworks scientists, and creative partners to ensure the delivery of effective, memorable, and engaging experiences.

In her spare time, Jennifer is passionate about early childhood education and serves as the S.T.E.M. expert at a multinational toy company, supporting parents in developing their young child’s critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

What is Jennifer's dream project/challenge she'd love to work on? 

Jennifer’s dream challenge would be to transform the educational experience for children by applying the most current scientific research on increasing happiness, creativity, and critical thinking in a digital-physical world.
