Our Team

Kazunaga is a Regional Director at BEworks, currently residing in Tokyo, Japan. He works with clients in the region to help get a better understanding of their customer's decision-making process and behavior. As a researcher, his interest lies in taking the quantitative approach to measure and model the difficult-to-measure psychological constructs, getting a deeper understanding of cultural nuance, and finding creative ways to build strategies and solve challenges. As a business development lead, Kazunaga has led the development of BEworks portfolio in Japan since 2018, managing several exciting projects in various sectors, such as finance, insurance, and manufacturing, on a topic ranging from customer acquisition to organizational culture change.  

Kazunaga completed his Ph.D. in Cognitive Psychology at the University of Western Ontario and a post-doctoral fellowship at McMaster University. Specializing in psycholinguistics and cognitive science of memory, Kazunaga studied how people's memory structure, cognitive abilities and experience affect how people read and understand sentences, using behavioral, neuroimaging and computational approaches.
